Carnegie Connectors
The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh Carnegie Connectors membership group is for young supporters of the four Carnegie Museums — the Carnegie Museums of Art & Natural History, The Andy Warhol Museum, and Carnegie Science Center. Members of this group, ranging in age from twenty-one to forty, are culture-creators who recognize the importance of investing through their membership in the four Carnegie Museums and the city of Pittsburgh. Carnegie Connectors demonstrate an interest in arts, science, and natural history, and a drive to create a community based on these shared interests.

Carnegie Connectors: Gertrude Abercrombie: The Whole World Is A Mystery
Exclusive event for young professionals, 21-40
Carnegie Museum of Art
Friday, February 7, 2025
6:00 – 9:30 p.m.
Members of Carnegie Connectors, a group for young professionals, are invited to a special event celebrating Carnegie Museum of Art’s newest. Socialize and network with other Connectors, make your own dreamscape, and view new exhibitions during private hours.
Gertrude Abercrombie (American, 1909–1977) was a critical figure in the midcentury Chicago art scene and a creative force who, from the 1930s until her death in 1977, produced enigmatic paintings populated with objects and figures of personal significance. With a deft hand, a concise symbolic vocabulary, and a restrained palette, she created potent images that speak to her mercurial nature and her evolving psychology as an artist.
Enjoy complimentary drinks and light refreshments. Business casual or party attire suggested.
