Singapore and Sarawak, Borneo

Trip Dates: March 27 – April 3, 2020

Join Curator Jennifer Sheridan on the trip of a lifetime, through Singapore & Sarawak (Malaysian Borneo). In Singapore, we will visit key sites such as Singapore Botanic Gardens, Asian Civilizations Museum, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and explore the colonial history and nature of this young nation. We will then travel to Sarawak to see some of Borneo’s iconic wildlife such as rhinoceros hornbills and orangutans, which captured the imagination of westerners when explorer Alfred Russel Wallace told of his encounters with them in his 1869 book “The Malay Archipelago”. We will stay in luxurious accommodation and sample the region’s best cuisines, with our food-obsessed curator who has lived and worked in Singapore and Borneo for more than 20 years. Reserve your spot for March 2020 today.
