Celebrate Bastille Day

Tuesday, July 14, 2020
10:00 AM — 12:00 Noon EST

Let’s go to Paris for Bastille Day! Barbara Tucker, Director, Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh Travel Program, invites you to a virtual cooking class at the renowned cooking school La Cuisine Paris with Chef Cyril!

Celebrate Bastille Day in style with an authentic French lunch! Join La Cuisine Paris‘ Chef Cyril and learn to make Croque Monsieur and Salad with French Vinaigrette. Chef Cyril, born in Strasbourg, has been working in the culinary world for more than thirty years, both as a food journalist and as a professional chef.

Bastille Day is the French National Holiday which celebrates the storming of the Bastille, a military fortress and prison, which served as a turning point of the French Revolution. Virtually travel to the heart of Paris to celebrate with La Cuisine Paris, a French cooking school which offers a variety of hands on cooking classes.

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh Travel Program features tailored trips for small groups and offers private access to venues not open to the public. Many trips feature cooking classes as a part of the cultural immersion experience. The Carnegie Museums Travel Program is thrilled to be journeying back to France virtually for another opportunity to learn about French cuisine.
