Each year a panel of judges selects images that best illustrate the world of nature for exhibit in Carnegie Museum of Natural History. Seen here is the first prize winner from the 1996 competition. Amateur and professional photographers are invited to enter the 1998 Natural World Photographic Competition. Entry period is November 3-14.
