Get fancy and celebrate the holidays at the art museum! Snap snazzy photos, dance under snowflakes, craft holiday keepsakes, get cozy in our galleries, and create memories with friends.

Grab your best holiday pajamas and enjoy a family dance party! Featuring hot chocolate, cookies, art-making, and plenty of good cheer.

Super Science Saturday: Holidays Around the World
Dec. 14, Noon–4 p.m.
Travel around the world as you explore holiday-themed stations throughout the museum. Learn about the holiday traditions of other cultures through amazing artifacts, festive holiday foods like Italian pizzelles, and hands-on crafts. See the museum all decorated for the holidays, pet Sven our friendly reindeer, and send a letter to Santa!

Elf: The Sleepover
Dec. 7
Grab a buddy and discover your inner elf at our fun-filled holiday Sleepover! Watch Elf on the big screen in The Rangos Giant Cinema, sing-along to a holiday laser show, and create a delicious hot chocolate concoction. Make a light-up holiday card, experiment with wintery science, and try your hand at snowball toss and pin the tusk on the narwhal.

School’s Out Science Workshops
When school is out, science is in! On special days when school is closed, we want to continue child education. At School’s Out Science, we invite campers to explore our exhibits, see a live theater show or a film in The Rangos Giant Cinema, and carry out interactive science experiments. It’s a great alternative to daycare!
