Milton Fine Curator of Art, The Andy Warhol Museum
Areas of focus: Andy Warhol, Contemporary Art
Since arriving at The Warhol in early 2014, Jessica Beck has curated many projects, most notably Andy Warhol: My Perfect Body, the first exhibition to explore the complexities of the body, through beauty, pain and perfection, in Warhol’s practice. She is currently working on Devan Shimoyama’s first solo-exhibition for the fall of 2018. Beck focused both her undergraduate and graduate research on Warhol. Outside of the museum, Beck serves as a visiting scholar at the Carnegie Mellon School of Art for the 2017-2018 academic year. She received her bachelor of arts in art history from the University of Chicago and completed her master of arts with distinction at the Courtauld Institute of Art.
