For Children
Exploring new worlds daily.
Don't forget to bring your imagination.
Where else but Carnegie Museums can a kid be an astronaut-in training, a geologist for a day, learn about the power of art in saving endangered animals, dive into a fossil dig, join a gallery play date, and enjoy family time in free weekend art-making programs?
Let your child be the judge. Light the spark. We’ll fuel the fire.
Our classes and workshops are too cool for school. Starting as young as preschool, kids will love the magic of hands-on learning.
Our summer camps at Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and Carnegie Science Center are legendary. For kids as young as 4 years old all the way up to 13 year olds eager for a chance to do something different with kids their own age.

Did you know we’re a science lab and art studio for hundreds of homeschoolers each year? Enroll your child in science and art workshops designed especially for independent learners.

Our sleepovers—for a one-of-a-kind birthday party or any other special occasion—are all-night adventures on submarines, near wild animals, and under the stars. Stay the night...if you dare!
